Meet David Potter
Mr. David Potter grew up in Detroit, MI and has extensive experience
as a physician assistant in neurosurgery. He received his Bachelors
of Health Science and Physician Assistant Certification at Hahnemann
Medical University in Philadelphia in 1974. He began working as
a physician assistant in health education projects in the U.S.
and South America through the People
to People Health Foundation.
He began clinical work as a physician assistant in New Haven, CT
in 1977 and began working for neurosurgery in 1989. He moved to
New Mexico in 1993 to work in the neurosurgery department at Lovelace
Medical Center. He has worked with private practices of neurosurgery
in New Mexico since 1998, initially working for New Mexico Neurosurgery
and more recently, Dr. Metzger and Southwest Neurosurgical Associates.
Mr. Potter holds physician assistant certification (PA-C) by the
National Commision on Certification
of Physician Assistants. He
is a member of the New Mexico Academy
of Physician Assistants and
the American Academy of Physician Assistants
